It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Well… it is the most exciting for sure with all of the holiday cheer in the air. Each year me and my kids have spent the days leading up to Christmas decking the halls and indulging in hot coco. Though these times of the year are filled with cheer and joy it wasn’t always like that for us. In previous years we did struggle and weren’t able to do things as big as we do now. So the traditions we do each year don’t remind us of how times used to be hard. But they remind us how blessed we are now and how thankful we are of how things have become.
What other way to dive into the holiday spirit than to decorate your home with festive decorations. My daughter helped me decorate the hallway this year with our new Haute Decor products. It was her idea to add the ornaments which turned out amazing! Although this is something new we are doing it has become our new tradition.
What’s Christmas without an amazing Christmas Tree? Big or small our trees are always decorated by the children. At one point the kids were so small we had to opt for a 4ft tree with NO ornaments, we were affraid they would pull them off. Thankfully the time has gone by and the kids are able to enjoy decorating the tree the way they like.
The holiday spirit is always in full swing as soon as we turn on Christmas music songs, decorating and singing Christmas tunes has to be one of the most fun things about Christmas. As our family grows we are able to add to our already fun holiday traditions. My hope is that we are able to pass down these thankful traditions so that our children’s children are able to experience it.
