My Thought’s
When I first saw the trailers for this movie I had sort of an idea of what the movie was going to be about, lets just say the trailers leave much to the imagination making room for them to surprise you. In the beginning we meet one of the main characters Casey (Britt Robertson) and her family, we are kind of thrown into what is happening in her world and her big worries as to how things are “changing”. Casey is arrested for her 2nd offense at sabotage and after being released finds a pin among her claimed belongings.

After she touches the pin she is immediately taken to a new world which she cannot help but want to explore. To find out where this pin came from she sets out on an adventure that takes her to TX. With some help from Athena (Raffey Cassidy) She later runs into Frank Walker (George Clooney), a former Tomorrowland resident who is bitter about being exiled. Together all 3 find their way to Tomorrowland which Frank reluctantly takes them back to.

An aspect I did not foresee this movie to feature was facts about how the world’s current crisis with natural and unnatural events were happening. For example the polar ice caps melting, as well as the increase in dangerous weather many have experienced or seen within the past few years. Casey’s character is very invested in how we can change these crisis and why we aren’t making more of an initiative to do so.

I was very surprised to see this story sort of take a spin on that note and instead of just take us to a new world like Tomorrowland, take us on an adventure to help save billions of lives. I wont spoil the movie to much for you but I feel as though the trailers leave much room for you to be surprised.
The idea of the movie had much to do with Walt Disney’s original dream of a utopia that provided eco-friendly modern advances that helped human kind without sacrificing precious natural resources.

The story does develop and features some nice action packed scenes that the kids would definitely enjoy, oh and there is some great humor as well! My favorite parts had to be the few times Casey bumped into walls as she tried to use her button to see Tomorrowland.
During the end of the movie it seems as though the story shifts from adventuring to a new place to more of a eco-conscious message. This was something I wasn’t expecting and was left hoping there was a sequel to this movie to bring more light to Tomorrowland and the new exciting adventures it could boast.
What I hope people take from this movie is that self awareness of the world around is very important and that change can happen if we all start today inside of tomorrow.
I would recommend this movie for kids 11+ Years or older
Simply put because it is a complex storyline that the littler ones would find it hard to follow, there are some great awe inspiring scenes including special effects and visuals that keep you on edge.
