It was truly a dream come true to have the opportunity to walk the Red Carpet in LA. I’m not sure if there is anything that could prepare you for this type of event, but I will say taking it all in while you are experiencing it the most important thing. Let’s do a quick rewind real quick so you can find out why I was in LA in the first place. Myself and 24 other amazing bloggers made our way to LA for Disney’s The Jungle Book Movie Premier. It was an opportunity I thought was never possible until that fateful day I received my invitation. As apart of the #JungleBookEvent I attended we were given the opportunity to interview the cast of the movie as well as Walk the Red Carpet.
Getting to the Red Carpet was an event in it’s self, 24 other bloggers and I graced the famous Oscar stairs towards the El Capitain Theater. As we were walking through the mall we got all types of “ooohhh’s and ahhhh’s”. I’m sure no one in the mall was prepared for a troop of 25 bloggers all dressed up for this event.
I rocked a Ralph Lauren dress with white and gold jewelry, a pair of black pumps and hair down. Makeup was done by myself having a smokey intense eye, with vibrant red lips.
On our way to the Red Carpet, we walked on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, while I wasn’t able to snap a picture of the many stars we walked on, a few of my blogger friends were able to snag a few pictures. I was able to snap a picture of the Theater, a far away picture of course but still a great memory.
Before you can enter to Walk The Red Carpet you first need your ticket, here’s a shot of mine. To get into the after party we needed a green bracelet which isn’t shown in this picture. It was very interesting to see in person how many people were lined up along the barriers in hopes of getting autographs from the stars.

As soon as I entered to Walk The Red Carpet, I caught a glimpse of Neil Sethi who plays Mowgli signing away on posters of himself. It was very surreal to see him on the carpet after we had just interviewed him and the other cast earlier. Can you believe he is just 12 year’s old! He did so well in the movie you would have never known he was in front of green and blue screens during the entire filming of the movie.
The Red Carpet was decorated as if you were really in the Jungle with Mowgli, I snapped a few shots in front of the many different displays they had. Even the velveteen rope was decorated with moss and vines, it was so cool!
It’s kind of hard to see them, so if you play where’s Waldo with these photos you are able to spot Giancarlo Esposito in a purple suit and hat in the first photo. In the 2nd photo you can see Director Jon Favreau talking to a group of reports, most likely gossiping away about how amazing this movie is.
After you reach the end of the Red Carpet the fun is never over! The stars walk past you to enter the theater, prompting many opportunities to catch a quick photo with them. I’m sad to report this was the end of where any photos were taken since they hold all of our phones at the door. Stay tuned for my upcoming posts which will be featuring insightful interviews with the cast ad director of the movie, as well asfull movie review that you must read.
It is always a pleasure to interview the stars and I love being able to hear them in person express their love for their roles and their dedication to each film they are involved in.
