Kings Dominion Kids Point Of View 1

Life from a kids point of view seems so simple and joyful, things seem a lot simpler from their point of view. The same can also be said about how they view things for the first time, they are vibrant and amazing. Have you ever wondered what to get a 1-year-old for their first birthday present? I’ve always recommended a very flashy box or maybe a fun toy with lots of lights and music (that, of course, the mom can control! I’ve got your back mom!) We all know how crazy that music can drive you when they push that same button over and over and over again. To share a quick view of what Kings Dominion Looks like from a 3, 7, 9 and 10-year-old’s point of view, I created a fun short video, as well as some fun photos to share with yall.

The highlight of this trip was no shocker to me, it was Snoopy Land of course! It had so many rides that were perfect for my kid’s height and daredevil levels. Hey, that rhymed! Sort of! Well any who these kids love the rides and the lines were honestly not that bad at all considering the fact that we know roller coaster lines are never ending at times. Oh, and if you plan on riding roller coasters during your trip to Kings Dominion, make the smart purchase and snag yourself and whoever else is brave enough to ride these awesome rides a Fast Lane or Fast Lane Plus Pass. You will have to thank me later when you see how quickly you are able to maneuver through lines throughout the day and explore the whole park to it’s fullest.

Now that we know where my kids spent their entire day during our last visit to Kings Dominion, let’s talk about ways to make your next trip to Kings Dominion Amazing. It could be that you are planning to ride the new Delirium! Or maybe it is the new expanded Soak City you have your heart set on. Whatever the case may be, here are some of my tips that will help enhance your trip.

Kings Dominion Kids Point Of View 9

Prep Your Trip. The park maps are available online and are also available throughout the park when you walk through the gates. I like to take the time to mark what each of the kids wants to do before hand. I won’t lie and say we stick to the exact plan since sometimes some rides have longer lines than the others. We end up weaving around areas we know that the kids want to focus on. Snoopy land is one of the best places for my kid’s age group since they are all big enough to ride those rides.

Snag these cups. You will thank me on your second visit back to the park trust me! If you are a local and plan on visiting the park throughout the season you definitely need to be purchasing these cups. All refills the day you purchase the cups are completely free, and then $1 for every refill on your return visits. This is so perfect for my kids since there are 4 of them and we all love to enjoy the same drinks. So worth it trust me!

Stop and Take Photos. While in the park stop and take photos with your favorite characters and places. I love to take photos in certain places the kids like to go, and then later on when we visit again I will snap a picture with them in the same place. It’s a great way to show how much the kids have grown, and also create some one of a kind memories the kids can look at later on. These photos last a lifetime and bring unlimited smiles I promise.

Catch A Show and LIVE Music. Make sure you catch a live show or two while you in the park, they are totally worth it. I caught some footage of the show we were able to catch when we last visited the park. Also, make sure to look up if there will be a live music concert going on while you are in the park. Make sure to look at the times as soon as you get into the park and then be around the area it will be held around an hour before show time. That way you only have a short walk to the show or music concert once it starts.

Bring Help and Accompany The Kids On The Rides. I have said it before and I will say it again, bring help if possible when bringing little ones to the park. Extra sets of eyes and hands are never a bad thing when you have multiple adults the kids are able to split up and do different rides when one kid is too short or too tall for a ride. I also highly recommend you ride with your kids on the rides, I love looking at my babies faces when they are filled with so much joy and experiencing something new and exciting. It’s like having front row seats to your favorite artist’s concert and getting to go backstage. So worth sitting in those little seats that make your thigh hurt cause your adult sized versus mini sized. Kings Dominion Kids Point Of View 2

That’s it yall! Those are my 5 tips on how to make your next trip to Kings Dominion Amazing! Please leave a comment below and tell us when is the last time you have visited Kings Dominion and if you plan on going sometime soon. I would love to hear about your trip or your upcoming trip.

You can purchase Kings Dominion tickets online as well as at the gates. Also, don’t forget to check out all of their roller coaster rides including the Dilirium and the Intimidator 305 which is one of the tallest, fastest, most thrilling roller coaster on the East Coast.

These are very helpful tips when you are visiting a large park with little ones. We’ve never been to King’s Dominion. I’m sure my twin granddaughters will have a grand time there.

This post really made me miss my childhood! My parents used to take me to Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm all the time when I was young, and those trips made great memories. Your kids will thank you when they’re older and look back on these days!

I love it when brands let us Moms bond with our kids. It’s really definitely something worthwhile and its great that there are many rides appropriate for a lot of age. It is quite frustrating when almost all rides in a theme park are not for kids 4feet and below.

I love the idea of getting a viewpoint from kids. We have a theme park near us and I write about it often. I need to stop and get some ideas from them as I know it would be unique to them.
