Hello Mom! First off let me tell you how awesome you are! Sometimes it takes someone just reminding you how awesome you are to remember you are super woman. You can do whatever you put your mind to, even if that means you have to get dinner on the table by 5 and it’s already 4:29 and your still in the grocery store getting said dinner ingredients.
I have a new show to tell you about, and trust me I know you will love it! It’s all of the things us moms go through, with at least one of our children. Things can get rough in a household where you are out numbered by 2 or even 3! Yes, I am the mom who is outnumbered by 3, and sometimes it is amazing we all make it through the day without a total meltdown from one of the kids.
I can totally relate to this show on many parts and found one of the scenes from the first episode so relatable. If you would like to watch the first episode of the show now, you can head over HERE and watch it for FREE.
Highly Relatable Scene 1: The scene where mom has to put her daughter to bed but her daughter asks her to sleep in the bed with her till she falls asleep. Well, that scene rings insanely true to my household where my girls ask me to do the same thing. Just like the mom in this show I try my best to not fall asleep with them as they both drift off into dream land. I try to use my phone to keep me awake but I end up falling asleep with it in my hands. Oh the work I miss getting done while I am taking my cat nap with my girls. Beautiful bonding time but a killer when it comes to my time schedule for the day.
Highly Relatable Scene 2: The Mom just trying to hold everything together, the cooks, cleans and runs all of the errands including graph paper shopping in an almost empty store. I am that same single mom trying to balance my personal life with my family and work life. The phone call she receives in the recording booth about her kids homework assignment is always a duh moment for a single mom like me. It’s a crazy hectic life trying to keep up with so many different working parts in our big family. Watching as she struggles through many of the same things was a “OH YEAH!” moment time and time again for me throughout the show. Super relatable!

In Better Things, Pamela Adlon plays “Sam,” a working actor with no filter trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters’ lives, have fun with a friend or two, and also — just maybe — squeeze in some private time once in a while. Her life is funny to watch, but you wouldn’t want to live it (except sometimes).
