5 Tips To Help You Get The Most Out Of Your Workout
Hello everyone! If you haven’t visited my blog before I will quickly introduce myself and my family, just so you can get a quick back story on my life. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, they are now 10, 9, 7 and 3 years old.
I had fairly easy pregnancies and gave birth to all 4 of my children via c-section. I was pretty young when I had my first son, I was 15 years old and quickly learned pregnancy was way more intense than the movies made it seem.

Working Out After Having Kids
For the first time in my semi-adult life, I found out how hard it was to hold your bladder with a 7lb person inside of you when you sneezed. Through the lesson’s learned I realized that it was something that wouldn’t go away so quickly after I gave birth to all of my children. I still deal with incontinence on a daily basis but have found simple ways to help myself work through that.

5 Tips For a Healthy Lifestyle
I have found a new love of a healthy lifestyle in visiting my local gym, it has almost everything I need to help keep this mom healthy and fit. I love to take Zumba classes and hit the treadmill for a few miles.
I am sad to report that I got out of my fun gym flow a few months ago and sadly all the progress I had made with my physical health backtracked to the very beginning of where I started over a year ago. It’s that easy and can happen so fast you wouldn’t even think those few months would matter, but they do!

5 Tips To Help You Get The Most Out Of Your Workout
So this mom definitely encourages you, mom, to make those right choices and focus on your health. I’m back in the gym and have made tremendous efforts to change the way I eat (again!). My biggest weakness is sweets, I love sweets, so cutting back on those was the hardest thing I had to do.
But with the support of my friends and family, I am doing just fine. Here are my 5 Tips To Help You Get The Most Out Of Your Workout. Through a few years of trial and error, I am sharing with you my best-learned tips!

Stretch
Stretching is a great habit to get into since most of us (myself included sometimes) forget to have that good stretch before the class starts. Trust me your body will thank you when the hour-long class is over.

Keep a Water Bottle Handy
Keep a large water bottle handy, for an extra boost in the gym I like to add freshly squeezed lemon juice, and lemon slices into my water bottle. Piled high with ice cubes and filtered water, and you have one of the most delicious and refreshing drinks. Not to mention lemon is a fat blaster!

Wear Comfortable Shoes
There is nothing in the world that can bring you down as quickly as a horrible pair of shoes when you are working out. No, I am not saying get the most expensive pair of shoes humanly possible to become healthy, but I am saying pay attention to labels and descriptions of shoes.
Most shoes are labeled for their specific uses, I had a favorite pair of running shoes that lasted me a year, they had tons of small holes around the shoe to help keep you cool as you run. No sweaty feet with those shoes I tell you!

Wear Comfortable Clothes
Find something comfortable that you would like to work out in, it’s not a fashion show in the gym. You are only required to wear something comfortable that you can sweat in. I have a few favorite outfits I like to wear just because I know when I’m working out.
I don’t have to suck in my tummy to make the outfit look appealing. I also make sure to shop for clothes that will keep me cool and will not weigh me down while I sweat.
Pack Your Gym Bag At Night
I like to pack my gym bag at night so I can just grab and go in the morning. With my kid’s schedule, it’s hard to remember the key things you need in your bag while you’re at the gym. I always remember to pack a change of clothes and a bathing suit depending on which gym location I will be visiting, and how much time I have to work out.

Kick Butt Protection – Poise Liners
Take a peek into my current gym bag, as I grow older the products in my gym bag change, the one thing that has stayed consistent in this bag is that I use Poise liners for extra protection when I’m working out.
The workouts and classes can get intense, I don’t want to stop and run to the bathroom in the middle of a class it’s embarrassing. So to make sure I make it through the entire Zumba class, or maybe just a great job on the treadmill, I trust poise liners to keep everything in check.
My Gym Bag Contains:
- Lemon H20
- Shampoo and Conditioner
- Body Spray (for when I am leaving the gym)
- A Hair Brush
- Headphones
- Workout Gloves

Poise for Incontinence
You can find these amazing thin liners and their whole line of pans and Impressa at your local Rite Aid Store. Located in the incontinence aisle you can find these amazing products right next to each other.
The Poise Thin Shape has a Thin-flex design that moves with your body, Absorb-loc core quickly locks away wetness and odor,3-1 protection for light bladder leaks and keeps odor under control. I absolutely love how this pad provides ultra-thin protection without extra bulk, you get all of the absorbency of a regular pad in a shape that is 40% thinner.

awesome advice for women out there. The first two are very important without the right shoes you could really hurt your muscles when you first start out and water is such a great detox for the body.

Great tips but I don't stretch muscles that have not been warmed up. Typically I will stretch after the workout
