Beauty Box 5 Monthly Subscription Box Product Review
Beauty Box is a monthly subscription service that delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4-5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances, etc. Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, $30/quarterly or $99 if you pay for the year!
I am a beauty contributor for Beauty Box 5, every month they send me a box free of charge for the purpose of a review. As always, my opinions are true and my own.
Beauty Box ships via DHL and took about a week to arrive.
This months theme was Summer Chic.
Included in June 2014 Beauty Box were the following products:
Nicka K New York Nail Color – I’m usually not a fan of red polish but I love this! It goes on smooth and doesn’t chip like most nail polishes. I’ve had it on for a week and it still looks like it did the day I applied it. Another plus is it dries super fast!
Retail: $4.99 for .5fl oz
Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner ($2)- I have been wanting to try the Organix shampoo & conditioner for awhile so I was excited to see it included in my box. I wasn’t as impressed with it as I thought I would be. I tend to have pretty dry scalp and these products made it very itchy. They do smell AMAZING though which I loved! My hair smelled like coconut all day!
Retail: $7.99 for 13oz
Glam Natural Mascara ($7)- I didn’t like this mascara at all. I found it to be very runny and the smell wasn’t pleasant. After only having it on for about an hour it had started to run. I’ve never had a mascara do that in such a short amount of time. It is Gluten Free which is awesome!
Retail:$28.00 for .25oz
Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit ($15.43)- Included in this kit was a soothing refiner & cleanser, soothing cream, replenishing scrub, and a comforting mask.
This is a set designed to soothe and hydrate and the ingredients are paraben-free and contain aloe-vera which is awesome! I wasn’t super impressed with these. My face didn’t feel anymore hydrated or soothed then it does every day. Maybe if they are used for more than just a week the results would be different.
Retail:$28-65 for 2fl oz-1.7fl oz
Vita Bath Body Wash Wild Red Cherry ($1.33)- I don’t use body wash, I stick to good ole soap. But I can say that this body wash smelled so good! I have several of Vita Baths body spray products and I absolutely love them so I would say their body wash is just as good!
Retail:$7.95 for 12fl oz
This months Beauty Box had a value of $30.75. This was probably my favorite box that I’ve received so far because of the nail polish!
