The recipe I am submitting is what I used from the box of products I received.
It’s getting cold outside so I made a delicious sweet and savory Chicken and Potatoes Crock Pot Stew. I used the Dei Fratelli All Purpose Sauce, onions, potatoes, chicken and various seasonings. Please see the information below on the ingredients and recipe instructions.
– 2 lb’s of Skinless Chicken
– 1 Whole Onion
– 1 Can of Dei Fratelli All Purpose Sauce
– 1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce
– 1/2 Cup of Vinegar
– Garlic Powder
– Pepper Corn
– Bay Leaves
– All Purpose Perfect Pinch Seasoning (McCormick – Optional)
1.) Cut and skin the chicken.
2.) Pan Fry the Potatoes In Oil
Lightly fry the potatoes in some hot oil *your choice of oil* with some garlic salt and pepper until both sides are browned. Then throw into your slow cooker. Repeat the frying process with the chicken and onions until brown then throw in the slow cooker. Add the provided seasonings above and a whole can of Dei Fratelli All Purpose Italian Sauce, then cover and put on HIGH.
Cook On HIGH for 45 Minutes – 1 Hr
Test the potatoes and chicken see if they are cooked the way you like, Cool then serve!
What are my thoughts on Dei Fratelli products? I love them! Most sauces are plain or full of unwanted ingredients, these sauces are perfectly balanced with seasonings and tomato. Another thing I worry about with sauces is when the sauce tastes bland or watery, these sauces are the opposite, full of seasoning and tomato flavor. A perfect addition to your Italian dishes or anything else you would like them to be in.
