Jay’s Style: Black Booming Beauty Mini Dress
Hi, all my lovelies! I will be trying something new and a bit out of my comfort zone today. Today I am sharing one of my favorite outfits from my recent Spring Break trip to Pigeon Forge, TN.
But First, A Confession
Up till now, I haven’t been very proud of my fashion sense. I think the more appropriate description of my fashion sense was “convenient and comfortable”. I also went through a phase where all I wore was workout clothes, not saying that’s a bad thing but I don’t think yoga pants were appropriate for that fancy dinner date.
Welp we live and we learn and in my case, we finally learn how to become comfortable in your own skin. I am a big believer in only wearing something if you are comfortable in it. I used to stress myself out about wearing the “typical” types of clothing for events. Things I wished I could just rip off and replace with comfortable PJ pants and slippers.
So my goal here today is to test the waters and dip my toes into this crazy fun fashion world. Kicking off this fun new segment of my blog I want to share a dress I recently found at the Windsor Store. I have been teased by friends and family calling me the definition of a flower child when it comes to my fashion choices. This dress totally gives off that flower child vibe with a hint of Asian flare.
I felt extremely confident in this outfit and loved the flowy material. Since I was traveling with kids I threw on some shorts underneath in case I needed to take off sprinting after one of my kids. This is actually an old habit of mine since having learned the “no shorts” benefit the hard way a few years ago.
I will def be heading back to my local Windsor store to grab some more pieces to add to my summer wardrobe.
