September 2014 Beauty Box 5 Product Review
Beauty Box is a monthly subscription service that delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4-5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances, etc. Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, $30/quarterly or $99 if you pay for the year!
I am a beauty contributor for Beauty Box 5, every month they send me a box free of charge for the purpose of a review. As always, my opinions are true and my own.
Beauty Box ships via DHL and takes generally about a week to arrive.
This months theme was Balancing Act. It was full of Fall favorites!
Included in the September 2014 Beauty Box were the following products:
Nicka K New York Eyelight Crayon(Gold)– Easy to apply and super easy to blend. You can use it as a eyeliner or as a shadow! I personally don’t wear colored liner but I may try it as a shadow!
Retail: $4.49 for .056oz
2.) Deep Conditioner
Natural Style by FUBU Deep Conditioner & Co-Wash– You use this as a co-wash if you have curly hair and as a deep conditioner for all other hair types. I have curly hair and thought that it worked really well on my hair. It helped with the frizz quite a bit!
Retail: $9.99 for 12oz
3.) Toe Spacers
Sally Hansen Toe Spacers– Separate your little piggies with these toe spacers, cleverly designed to fit any size toe as well as be fashionably cute! If you are a user of this tool you will like it, I personally do not use them so it wasn’t useful to me.
Retail: $1.99 for 1 pair
4.) Nail Polish
My Beauty Spot Nail Polish– One coat and your done. This is very rare with most nail polishes but also very handy. Watch out though as with any nail polish there is a strong odor and this one takes the cake.
Retail: $24.99 for .4fl oz/Set of 6
5.) Eye Bright – Eye Serium
Chrislie Formulations 3-in-1 Eye Bright– Brighten your eyes and make then feel a little less tired. This tester gave me the ability to try this product a couple times, your mileage may very with this products effectiveness. For me it wasn’t that strong and the two application was not enough to make a difference.
Retail: $40.00 for .5fl oz
Overall I wasn’t that impressed with this months box. I will probably only use the nail polish and give everything else to friends and family.
