Easy Homemade Waffles

These Cream Cheese Waffles are the perfect homemade waffle recipe for busy morning breakfasts. Deliciously sweet, soft, and fluffy, served with fresh berries, maple syrup, or strawberry syrup.

– All-Purpose Flour – Baking powder – Light brown sugar – Salt – Cream Cheese *softened – Eggs – Milk – Oil – Vanilla extract

Step 1

Preheat your waffle iron. In a medium mixing bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Whisk together and set aside.

Step 2

In another bowl, beat the light brown sugar, softened cream cheese, and egg yolks together with a small hand mixer, or by hand until blended (do not over mix).

Step 3

Add in the milk, vanilla, oil, and mix until smooth. Set aside. Cook the waffles according to the waffle iron‘s instructions.

Step 4

Serve immediately or set them on a plate until you are ready to serve!

Can I make my homemade waffle batter mix ahead of time?  Yes, you can, mix everything together and set it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. When you are ready to use the waffle batter, simply give it a good mix before using it in your waffle iron.
