Andouille Sausage Jambalya

An authentic Instant Pot Andouille Sausage Jambalaya recipe that can be made in 30 minutes! This flavorful easy one-pan jambalaya recipe is made with andouille sausage, bell peppers, onion, celery, and spices.

– Andouille Sausage – Onion – Green bell pepper – Garlic – Jalapeno pepper – Thyme – Tomato paste – Chicken stock – Hot sauce – Bay leaves – Green onions


Turn the instant pot onto sauté mode. Add in the oil and sausage. Cook until browned and then remove from the pot, set it aside for later.


Next, add your onions, and green bell peppers to your instant pot. Cook until the veggies are more translucent.


Add in your garlic and sauté for about a minute. Next, add in jalapeño, creole seasoning, thyme, tomato paste, and salt. Mix well.


Add your rice. Mix well, making sure that your rice is well incorporated with the rest of the ingredients in your instant pot. Sauté for about a minute.


Add in the diced tomatoes, chicken stock, Hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.


Now add the cooked sausage, green onions, and bay leaves. Using a wooden spoon scrape the bottom of your instant pot to prevent any burn notices.


Close the lid on your instant pot and cook on high for seven minutes. Once finished, let it sit for 15 minutes NPR.
