Summer time can be torturous when the heat starts blazing. There are many ways to beat the heat, some of those more delicious and fun than others. My family wanted to beat the heat, so I found a way for them to do so. This amazing party featured my kids favorite dip from Kraft, the French Onion Dip. They have a new look that I think everyone will love.
What better way to beat the heat than to do it with some delicious food and drinks. Starting off with some BLT Sliders featuring our favorite French Onion Kraft Chip Dip. Fresh lettuce along with some fresh tomatoes and wheat bread. Topped with maple bacon and Kraft French Onion Chip Dip. Whats a sandwhich without some chips? Enjoy your fresh BLT Slider with some delicious potato chips and Kraft French Onion Dip.
You can find this delicious Kraft French Onion Dip at your local Walmart. I found my dip in the refrigerator aisle in the Dairy section. At the price of $1.56 a container is a steal for this mom. It comes fresh and ready for you to open and serve for any occasion.
Kraft French Onion Dip BLT Sliders Recipe
Ingredients:
– Kraft French Onion Dip
– Slider Buns
– Maple Bacon
– Lettuce
-Tomatoes
Cooking Directions:
1. Bake the Maple Bacon in the oven for about 10-12 minutes on 350 Degrees. Cook until bacon is full cooked and crispy.
2. Open up your slide buns by cutting it down the bread down the middle. Open the top of the bread and place it on a seperate plate. Spread your Kraft French Onion Dipping Sauce generously on the bread.
3. Slice up the tomatoes and lettuce so they will fit individually onto each slider bun. 1 Tomato and 2-3 pices of lettuce per slider. Top the sliders with the cooked bacon. half a piece of bacon per slider.
4. Add the top of the sliders with the Kraft French Onion Dip. Use Toothpicks to keep the sliders together. Slide 1 toothpick per slider and then pull each slider to separate and plate.
Eating all of that yummy food means you need to wash it down with some refreshing drinks. We featured some fresh squeezed lemonade, along with some bottled water and kool aid for the kiddies. Featuring fresh fruit floating above cubed ice keeps the fruit fresh and the family happy. The fruit stayed cold and delicious making this a healthy sweet treat.
There was a container full of Strawberries and Blueberries ready to be scooped and added to anyones Fruit Cups. Whole Banana’s and Whole Apples were also available for those who want to keep their fruit on the go.
The end of this awesome party was a huge water fight, this included water guns and water balloons. The only instructions was to arm yourself and to be prepared. The whole yard was filled with laughter and sounds of “take cover!” as the kids threw the water balloons like grenades. Do you have any Beat The Heat Party Idea’s? Let us know them below!
