Dolby Cinema AMC Prime Expierence Share

Last week during my trip to LA for The #JungleBookEvent, I was able to screen the movie the day before we interviewed the cast and director. I’ve never been to a Dolby AMC Prime Cinema before, so I was very excited to experience this and share it with all of you.

Dolby C

I love going to the movie with my kids, and we tend to pick and choose which movies we want to see in 3D or Standard. The hassle I have found with 3D at times with my 3-year-old is the fact she tends to take them off midway through the movie.

I really loved how this theater hosted a bar for parents like me who like to enjoy a drink while I watch my movie. It was a lot of fun to go to the bar and choose from the many drinks they offered on their menu. I ended up getting an island fruity drink which is my favorite type of drink, I tend to go for the fruity drinks.

There we other drinks and food you could order to go along with your movie experience. I snagged some popcorn, chicken nuggets, and fries. Yes I was totally hungry and enjoyed every bite and sip of my food and drinks.

I was very excited to see what Dolby Cinema had to offer that we as movie lovers haven’t already experienced.  The first thing you see when you walk into the theater is this big sign letting you know where each of the Dolby AMC Prime Rooms are. One of the most fun parts about this experience is when you are walking down the hall to get to the theater. There is a huge long screen which plays whatever’s hot in the theater at the moment.

The movie trailer playing when we walked through was Disney’s Zootopia. It was so much fun to feel like you were walking through Zootopia with the characters. I felt like running to see if the characters would follow me so we could have a race.

The screen is huge by the way! It also had that curved feature that many of the new TV’s coming out have. So just imagine the biggest curved screen you have seen in the store, times that about 60 time and you will then have the same size screen the Dolby Cinema AMC Prime theaters have. Dolby Cinema features Moving Audio with Breathtaking sound in Dolby Atmos® fills the room and flows all around you. Even your seats! With Dramatic Imaging featuring Astonishing brightness, deep darks, and vibrant colors in Dolby Vision™ render each moment with spectacular impact.

I won’t lie, I have been in reclining seat theaters before and have found them to be SO much more comfortable than the standard theaters chairs. When you experience these chairs you wonder where they have been all your life. It’s truly the most comfortable theater chair I’ve ever been in! There is also some buttons you can press to help adjust the chair to your liking. I love to recline ALL The way back in my chair so I made my chair go as far back as possible and my legs up as high as I could. The result was an amazing comfortable position that made me feel like I was watching the movie in my own home no my bed. 2 Thumbs up Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime!

The Jungle Book 4

The overall movie experience was amazing! The chairs were amazingly comfortable, and everything felt as though we could read out and touch it, and as if the stage with all of the trees, leaves, flowers and even the animals were directly in front of us.  Make sure you read my full movie review on The Jungle Book hitting theaters April 15th, 2016. Those theatre chairs do look amazingly comfortable. The bar option for adults sounds wonderful. My son has a hard time sitting still through a movie, so I almost need a drink in hand to have the patience I need with him. Lol

I can’t wait to take the kids to see this movie. We have one cinema close to us and the seats are so uncomfortable with my back issues, but I get up a lot and move around.
