Get ready for the night of your life with this beautiful and elegant pajama glam party. The Tigerlily Foundation was founded by Maimah Karmo after she was diagnosed with breast cancer at 32 years old. Maimah is committed to educating young women around the world about breast cancer; and empowering them to be their own best advocates. She is dedicated to changing the young adult breast cancer landscape and seeks to impact the quality of care and lifestyle for young women affected by this disease.

The Pajama Glam event was originated by Tigerlily’s Founder’s (Maimah Karmo’s) then 10-year old daughter Noelle Karmo, who wanted to design an event to attract and educate young girls about their breast and body health while raising awareness towards the younger generation.

The Pajama Glam was Hosted by Ashley Darby Boalch of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac and Asia Monet, Actress, Singer, and Dancer. These two beautiful ladies did an amazing job bringing the fun fashionable atmosphere everyone felt. When you enter the venue you are ushered into the main room where you can have a fun photo taken of you and your little diva. As well as a multi-functional room where they hosted the fashion show and a few booths of local merchants and sellers.

A beautiful display of edible cupcakes is displayed when you walk in, with a fully stocked candy bar. Fabulous ladies serve as much as you want candy to all guests. In the hallway, there were many choices of foods and refreshments. The girls loved the candy bar which they visited about 3 times before we left the venue.

The patio of the venue was full of hula hoops for adults and children to enjoy. There was a face painting station with an amazing artist who  did a fabulous job on all of her little models. My daughters loved their face paint designs and wore them the whole day. There was also a fun clown lady who blew up some super adorable balloon animals and wands.

In another station, there was a talented woman who worked on all the girls hair. The final station my girls and I visited was a manicure station where adults and little girls could go get their nails done. It was so nice to see the girls pampered, they love getting their nails done. We go every two weeks to a local nail salon and change their colors. It’s always the highlight of their week when we go, so seeing this there made their faces light up.

Ashley Darby Boalch of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac made a special appearance at this venue. There were special photos and even a camera man to catch the reactions of the guests with Ashley Darby Boalch. The guests at the venue were so excited to see her and have their photos taken together. She seemed so sweet and even joked with the guests.

The highlight of the event, however, was the fashion show featuring some amazing designs from Jessica xxxxxx. The little girls strutted their stuff and showed off the many beautiful designs Jessica had in her collection. Some of the models handled the pressure differently than others, a few tears from some (which is normal, they were so cute, though!) and the others who had their signature walks.

Pajama Glam Shareable

I really loved this venue and hope to be invited back to the next one they host in the Washington DC area. The host is so warming and the charming Maimah Karmo brought such life and personality to everything.
