I’m not sure where to start with this once in a lifetime experience, I think I’ll first start with the walk down the beautiful blue carpet. This particular carpet was actually blue which I have not experienced yet, the previous Red Carpets I have attended were always red. I was more than excited to set sail on this carpet to hopefully see some scallywags and other familiar faces that would be featured in this movie.

I definitely found some great characters on the carpet who were more than happy to pose for my land cover photos. I honestly thought to myself, oh man I wish I brought my pirate hat because I would have at least matched in the photos. Between the many other pirates I found at sea, I also found some fun pirates on stilts walking around and doing some fun stuff. Once you hit the end of the blue carpet you get this amazing view of The Dolby Theater in Los Angles California where the movie premiere was being held.

Before I get to the pre-party fun I want to first say how much of an honor it was to be able to attend this movie premier in the same room the Oscars are held. It was a surreal experience that I can now say, wow I was there and I actually sat in one of the seats to watch one of my new favorite movies of all time.

You can’t help but be in awe when you walk in and look at the same stage the many superb talented people have walked across. It’s a surreal moment that you can only describe in just a few ways, one of those words just being a WOW because it’s hard to fully get out that amazing feeling you’re overwhelmed with.

I had actually only ever seen photos of what was about to happen next, but the pirate angels were smiling down on me because what happened next will forever be in my pirate heart. The cast actually walked out on stage just two rows away from me, they waved and they smiled as we all screamed in amazement. I totally had a fangirl moment and screamed like a school girl which I think is okay because I heard someone behind me who was louder (or was that me?).

Did I mention that Johnny Depp Totally looked me dead in the eyes and waved? Well, that’s how I remember it and that’s what this photo proves. A totally and completely 2 seconds of eye’s locking and a solid wave of the hand. Thank goodness I have proof of it or else yall would call me crazy, I shall treasure this photo forever and ever!

Pirate Tattoos

There is nothing like getting tatted up for a movie premier that you have been waiting on for 5 long years. They had some really cool choices that made it hard for me to decide which would fit my outfit best. I ended up going with the Black pearl and some stars to match the movie theme. I fell in love with the final product and wore it proudly to Disneyland the following day. How awesome is it to get tatted up at a movie premier! LOVE!

Keep To The Beauty Code Makeup Stations

Lorac made sure we kept to our beauty code by giving touchups for us sea ladies. As you can see above Lorac launched their Pirates of the Caribbean makeup line and offer some beautiful shades in their themed pallet. I received a quick touch up with some highlighting and bronzing that really helped my eyes pop.

If you’re in the market for a new pallet make sure you pick up the Lorac Pirates of the Caribbean pallet. Get that pirate look you have always wanted, and rock it with your cutest pair of boots. I love to do smokey eyes so I definitely will be grabbing this pallet ASAP.

Pirate Fun Photo Booths

Photo booths are always a fun way to memorialize those fun events you get to enjoy with good friends. The lighting was perfect and the theme is of course awesome! I had a great time using this photo booth and now have a photo from this memory that will last me a lifetime.

Pirate Friendly Drinks & Food

Of course, there was rum at a Pirates Of The Caribbean movie premiere. I opted to try the Pirate Punch and tt was so delicious boasting a fruity flavor I hope to mimic myself at home. They also offered other drinks but I surely had two of these bad boys before the movie started. I had to get in the pirate spirit yall! It was strictly for business purposes (wink wink).

So many pirates themed snacks were served, as well as this really yummy salsa shooter that really hit the spot. I personally loved the plantains with the avocado spread on top, as well as the pigs in a blanket with spicy dijon mustard. To top of the many yummy snacks chocolate gold coins, chocolate whoppers and gummy bears were given out. The popcorn was served in a cute Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales plastic bucket. I tried to save the chocolate whoppers and gummy bears to bring home to the kids but it didn’t make it out of the theater sadly.

Make sure you head to the theaters May 26th, 2017 to see this grand adventure that will leave you feeling excited and warm inside. Make sure you read my full movie review (no spoilers) and then purchase your tickets ASAP. Have you seen the other Pirates of the Caribbean movies? What do you look forward to seeing in this new high seas adventure?
