I love starting my family’s mornings off with a delicious hearty breakfast. To keep my kids supercharged for school and adventures beyond, I feed them Eggo Homestyle Waffles. It’s a breakfast option that the whole family can agree on.
Mornings With Eggo Waffles
Mornings are hard and full of chaos, especially for parents. When you live in a house full of picky eaters, sometimes it can be hard finding something everyone can agree on. Thankfully Eggo Homestyle Waffles are the breakfast we can all agree on.
The only debate we have is what we are going to put on top of our favorite frozen waffles. When everyone is happy at the breakfast table, it’s an automatic win for Mom.
It’s the perfect starting point for everyone to customize exactly how they want their waffles. It is also a hit for when we have BRINNER (breakfast for dinner). I try to get my wins where I can. That’s why I turn to Eggo.
The Best Waffle Toppings
- whipped cream
- chocolate chips
Brinner is when you have breakfast for dinner. It’s probably the most requested dinner option my kids have throughout the year. It’s also my fall back when I have a busy week ahead of me.
Since I have been doing brinner for many, many years, I have found the best balance of foods that I offer. The one thing we always offer is frozen Eggo Waffles. And with the Eggo Homestyle Waffles, I can offer a homemade tasting waffle that I can heat up in my toaster!
Along with other sides that are basically breakfast bumped up! For brinner, I offer either hash brown patties, tater tots, or oven-baked home fries. Along with 2 options of meat and eggs on the side.
Of course, all of the waffle toppings are available along with the kid’s favorite fruits. The best thing about brinner is that it’s easy to make, and something my whole family can agree on. To me, that’s a win-win!
Fruits That Pair Well With Waffles
There are so many fruits you can pair with your morning stack of waffles. My family prefers a handful of them to go along side or plates. Below are a few options that are kid tested and approved to be great waffle sidekicks.
Do you have a favorite topping you like to put on your Eggo waffles? Or does your family have a favorite fruit or side dish that they can’t do without at breakfast time?
