March is National Frozen Food Month and what better way to celebrate it by shopping for your favorite frozen food brands at your local Harris Teeter. As a busy mom of 4 kids which now includes teenagers, I need easy large family-style meals packed full of flavor. While I’m a chef at heart and love to whip up all types of meals on the stove, sometimes I just don’t have the time.
Frozen foods are my go-to when my time is limited and my hands are full. I love to stock up on my frozen foods at my local Harris Teeter. I save tons of money with their amazing deals on a weekly basis that help keep my weekly food budget in check. I also earn Fuel Points while shopping for my family’s favorite meals, I’m just saving money all over the place with Harris Teeter!
If you have never heard of the Harris Teeter’s VIC rewards program, it’s a way they give back to their valued customers by rewarding them Fuel Points just for shopping at Harris Teeter! For every 100 Fuel Points you earn, you can save $.10 per gallon on fuel purchases at Harris Teeter Fuel Centers and participating BP and Amoco stations, up to 1,000 points or $1.00 per gallon (maximum of 35 gallons).

Birds Eye® offers an array of veggie-based products that help me stick to my goals yet never sacrifice flavor. They have so many new products including cauliflower fries, tots and mashed potatoes! Michael Angelo’s
When it comes to delicious family-friendly dinner options I like to reach for Michael Angelo’s Family Size frozen entrees. Michael Angelo’s are simple frozen meals made with real ingredients. Their authentic Italian- style entrees are already made so I spend more time with my family and less time cooking in the kitchen. It’s one of those types of meals where you can pop it in the oven and forget about it until the timer goes off.
These are great for weeknight dinners when I need to help the kids with homework and don’t have 2 hands to spare. My family is currently obsessed with Michael Angelo’s Eggplant Parmigiana. Inspired by Italian traditions, made with no preservatives, and no fillers, It tastes too good to say no! I pair mine with my newest obsession, roasted Brussel sprouts.
Rao’s® Chicken Parmesan
Continuing on with this authentic Italian theme I have going on here. If you are looking for authentic Chicken Parmesan in the freezer aisle look no further. With Rao’s® Chicken Parmesan delicious speaks for itself. This 2-person meal is perfect for an intimate dinner for two, or for someone like myself when I don’t want to leave my house for authentic Italian food.
I love my cheese crispy so I will keep mine in the oven for a tad bit longer than instructed. Toss together a good side salad with some vinaigrette dressing and you’ve got yourself a hearty dinner or lunch. Rao’s® also offers other Italian inspired dishes in the frozen aisle such as fettucini alfredo, lasagna and more! Check it out at your local Harris Teeter grocery store!
