Nothing says entertainment like a good family feud. Wait I mean when it comes to watching a fun dinner show there is nothing like a good Family Feud between two country families that make you laugh until your stomach hurts. The food was amazing and all you can eat! Although you are just a viewer of the show it really felt like you were apart of it.
Before we dive into my official review here is a breakdown of what the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner show in Pigeon Forge, TN is all about.

Live Animals Outside
Is it really a country family show if there aren’t any live animals outside? Before you head inside, make sure you check out all of the friendly farm animals outside. My kids really liked looking at the animals and naming them whatever they felt fit each animals personality at the time.
The fun props they have outside make for some really fun photo opportunities. The kids took turns taking pictures in the coffin as well as other places around the building.
As you can see above, Anthony said he wanted to make sure everyone knew he would have extra protection in case a zombie tries to get him in his coffin. Not sure how that relates to this but he thought it was hilarious all the same.
The Gift Shop/Store offers a ton of Hatfield & McCoy themed gift items, as well as other cute cuddly stuffed animals. If you fall in love with Grandma’s cooking then make sure you pick up a few of the biscuit and creamy soup mixes in the gift shop. Anthony grabbed an American Flag Cowboy hat that he actually wore out of the shop.
The Country Cookin’’? Whooee It’s Good! Granny’s cookin’ up the best dinner in town! She guarantee’s it! Come hungry because it’s All You Can Eat. Make sure you order all the food and drinks you plan on eating throughout the show because after the show starts the food stops coming.
Don’t worry though, no one will judge you if you order 3 buckets of EVERYTHING, in fact, it’s encouraged!

My Families Honest Review
We love, love, loved this show! Having four kids means there are a lot of different personalities and senses of humor. This show exceeded my expectations when it came to the entire dining experience. Before the show starts you can request to have as many bucket refills of the food as you want.
The staff is dressed in super cute overall outfits and greets you with huge smiles. Our waiter was quick and brought everything out to us within minutes.
Before the show starts, all of the kids are asked to run up on stage and dance along to some live country music. Since this is a comedy show they moved around the room with a camera showing off couples and individuals with funny captions.
Most were caught off guard which made this even more hilarious. At one point there was a kiss cam going around which ended with a group of guys who gave each other a hug, awe!
DVD + Family Photo
Now when it comes to purchasing those green screen family photos I’m usually very picky. However, when I saw how our photo turned out I HAD to get it plus the show DVD. If you purchase the 2 Family Photos plus the live recording of the show it is $40, which comes with two bonus flags.
It was a bit pricey but to be honest, I really liked that family photo and wanted to take home the DVD for the kids to show off to their friends.
The show overall was completely engaging and made us really proud to root for our family team. My family was on McCoy’s side so we had a lot of rooting to do, for our family.
This show is packed with live music, some jumping dogs (my daughter’s favorite part) and so much more smile-worthy moments. The storyline wasn’t hard to follow at all as my 6-year-old was able to keep up with all of the jokes and references.
I think if your family is ready for a comedy show that offers not only engaging humor but finger-licking food. The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show will be perfect for you.
I honestly have zero complaints as my family had an amazing time. We even got to wait around and take a photo with some of the actors. Two thumbs up from my whole family!
