Holiday Teachers Gift Ideas with Facebook Marketplace
The Holidays are hands down one of the best times of the year. It’s that one time of the year that families can spread holiday cheer. I know sometimes it can be hard trying to find the perfect gift for that special someone. Although this is the most wonderful time of the gift giving year, finding that perfect gift for your children’s teachers can become challenging.
If you are as stumped as I was this year, then you are going to love my holiday teacher gift ideas for this holiday season.
What is Facebook Marketplace?
Facebook Marketplace is my new go-to for local buying and selling. Simply head over to Facebook Marketplace using the Facebook app, or the Facebook website and look for the Facebook Marketplace icon.
If you are buying from Facebook Marketplace, you can narrow down your search to find exactly what you are looking for. It didn’t take me long to find my Christmas treasure with a local mom. It was very simple to inquire about the availability of the products, as well as set up a time and location to pick up the items which worked best for my personal schedule.
I like using this option nowadays because I can see who is selling and view a person’s public Facebook profile before deciding to buy or sell from them. You can also easily communicate through Messenger to work out the time and place. Since they are local, it makes picking up the item a breeze and also saves me time since I do not have to wait for the items to be shipped.
Believe it or not, you could literally be throwing away your money when you toss out old household items. Next time you are itching to trash that fairly new sweater or dollhouse, consider selling them on Facebook Marketplace. It is an easy way to sell your goods to local buyers, and is a great option for people who don’t want to worry about shipping.
I’m an upcycle kind of mom where I like to take old things and find a new purpose for it. When I found these small holiday-themed tins on Facebook Marketplace, I jumped at the opportunity to make some insanely cute holiday teacher gifts.
If you would like to put a non-seasonal spin on these ideas for end of the year teacher appreciation gifts, just use plainly decorated tins, or paint and decorate the tins the way you would like. The possibilities are endless when it comes to mixing and matching these gift ideas.
Assorted Cookies Tin
This is always a popular gift for teachers, friends, and family alike. The best part of this gift idea is that you can customize exactly what cookies you would like to include. This is perfect for teachers who have food allergies because you can include gluten-free or nut-free cookies, for example.
To separate the cookies, I like to use muffin liners, but you can also individually wrap the cookies. To individually wrap the cookies, you can use a small sandwich bag or a clear treat bag. Bump up the decorations by wrapping small ribbons around them!
- Molasses Cookies
- Egg Nog Cookies

Hot Chocolate Kit
It’s time for our teacher to enjoy something delicious during their Christmas holiday. This hot chocolate kit is packed with everything a teacher needs to stay warm this holiday. There isn’t a snow day that could keep our teacher from staying warm with her tricked out hot chocolate. This kit includes some extra special toppings, as well as a cute new holiday mug to show off.
You Bake Me Happy
I feel amazingly blessed to have all of these amazing teachers working with my kids. Each and every single one my kids have had has made such a positive impact on their lives. To show them just how blessed we feel, we made this You Bake Me Happy gift idea. It’s a simple gift idea and perfect for bakers.
